Happy Freedom Day: I Am Alive. I Am Free.
Blessings to a new day.
I woke up. I opened my eyes. I could hear. I was breathing. I’m alive.
And my first thought? How blessed I am that God gave me life.
Little old me, lying in this bed, in this house, in this city, in this state, in this world, in this solar system, in this galaxy—just a speck in the grand expanse of God’s creation. And yet, God sees me. God chose me.
And then came the revelation—I am free.
I’ve spent so much of my life walking, talking, thinking like I was in bondage. In darkness. In chains I didn’t even see. But today, I know the truth: I’ve been free for a long time.
Free in my mind. Free in my spirit. Free because of God’s love and Christ’s sacrifice.
From the beginning, God knew. He knew Adam and Eve would fall. He knew humanity would struggle. And yet—He planned our redemption.
Jesus died on the cross to free us from sin. And as a believer, I claim that freedom today.
The world may have tried to convince me otherwise. But I woke up. I remembered. I reclaimed it.
I am free.
And so, I celebrate.
Celebrate life.
Celebrate joy.
Celebrate opportunities.
Celebrate freedom.
God planned my way out, and I trust Him.
Happy Freedom Day.
Live. Live. Live.
